1. general information about the processing of your data

Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number) will be processed by us exclusively in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law and the data protection laws of the European Union (EU). The following sections inform you about the purposes of processing, recipients, legal bases, storage periods, your rights and the controller responsible for data processing. This privacy policy only applies to our website and hotel operations. If you are redirected to other websites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.

2. Contact

2.1 Purpose of processing
We process the personal data you provide us with via email, contact form or other means in order to process and respond to your enquiries. You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, without your email address, it is not possible to respond to you by email.

2.2 Legal basis
a) If you have given us your express consent to process your data, Art. 6 (1a) GDPR is the legal basis for this processing.
b) If we process your data to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 (1b) GDPR is the legal basis.
c) In all other cases, in particular when using a contact form, Art. 6 (1f) GDPR is the legal basis.

2.3 Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your data, which is based on Art. 6 (1f) GDPR and does not serve the purpose of direct marketing, at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.
In the case of direct marketing, you can object to the processing at any time without giving reasons.

2.4 Our legitimate interest in data processing is to enable fast communication with you and to process your enquiries cost-effectively. If you provide us with your address, we reserve the right to use it for direct marketing by post.

2.5 Storage period
Your data will be deleted as soon as it is clear that your enquiry or the matter in question has been conclusively clarified. However, if a contract is concluded, we will store the data required under commercial and tax law for the periods specified by law, usually for ten years (cf. Section 257 HGB, Section 147 AO).

3. Room booking

Based on a separate agreement on the processing of personal data, your data will be collected and processed on our behalf by DIRS21, TourOnline AG, Borsigstraße 26, 73249 Wernau, Germany, within the scope of order processing in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR and the relevant legal requirements when you make a room reservation. As a contract processor in the case of support measures, DIRS21 also has access to your data, but may only use it for the purpose of support measures and not for its own purposes. 4. Newsletter

We use your email address exclusively for our own advertising purposes to send you our newsletter, provided you have expressly consented to this, regardless of the contract processing. This processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR on the basis of your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on your previous consent. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter itself or by contacting us. Your email address will then be removed from our distribution list.

Your data will be passed on to an email marketing service provider for order processing. It will not be passed on to other third parties.

5. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

Since IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity for the website operator and provide other services related to website and internet usage.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. The purposes of data processing are to evaluate the use of the website and to compile reports on website activity.

Processing is based on the website operator's legitimate interest in analysing and optimising its website.

6. Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use the function for embedding Google Maps maps from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, ‘Google’). This function enables the visual representation of geographical information and interactive maps. When visiting pages on which Google Maps is integrated, data from visitors to our website is collected, processed and used by Google.

Your data may also be transferred to the USA, for which there is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission. The data transfer is based, among other things, on standard contractual clauses as suitable guarantees for the protection of personal data, which can be viewed at the following link: policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.

The use of cookies or similar technologies is based on your consent in accordance with Section 25 (1) sentence 1 TTDSG in conjunction with Article 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to revocation.

7. Social media platforms

We maintain a presence on the social media platforms Instagram (www.instagram.com/farmhouseno50), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/farmhouseno50) and Pinterest (https://www.pinterest.de/farmhouseno50) to provide you with information and offers within these networks, to offer you further contact options and to inform you about our offers. Below, we would like to inform you about the data that we or the respective social networks process in connection with your visit to and use of our fan pages/accounts.

Data that we process about you:
If you wish to contact us via Messenger or direct message on social networks, we generally process your user name, which you use to contact us, as well as any other data you provide that is necessary to process and respond to your request.

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 f) GDPR (processing is necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests).

(Static) usage data that we receive from social networks:
By using Insights functionalities, we automatically receive statistics about our accounts. These statistics include aggregated data such as the total number of page views, ‘likes’, page activity, interactions with posts, reach, video views and information on the gender ratio of our fans/followers.

The statistics do not contain any personal data and do not allow us to identify individual persons.

Data processed by social networks:
No membership in the respective social network or user account is required to view our fan pages/accounts. However, please note that social networks may collect and store technical data when you visit their websites in order to display the website, and may use cookies and similar technologies over which we have no control. Further details can be found in the privacy policies of the respective social networks.

However, in order to interact with our content, such as commenting, sharing or liking posts, or to use messenger functions to contact us, you must register with the respective social network and provide personal data.

8. Use of web fonts

On this website, we use external fonts from Google Fonts, a service provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). These web fonts are integrated via a server call, usually from a Google server in the USA. This server call transmits to Google which of our web pages you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser on the visitor's device. (5) Right to data portability

(7) Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 GDPR. The competence lies in particular with the supervisory authority in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.

b) Special case of direct marketing: simple objection is sufficient If your personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to this processing at any time and without stating reasons. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct advertising. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, your personal data will no longer be used for these purposes.
